Whether this is your first visit to a Wauwatosa WI chiropractor or if you have any amount of past experience, our goal is to ensure that you feel 100% comfortable in our office! Our friendly staff will guide you through the entire process and answer any questions you may have before meeting with the doctor. You can expect this first appointment to last for approximately one hour.
Arrival Paperwork (First Visit)
Save yourself 15 minutes at your first visit by completing your paperwork online. If you are unable to do so, we just ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete it in person. Please remember to bring your insurance card and identification information to that first appointment as well.

Consultation
During your consultation, we will take the time to review your paperwork and health goals. We’ll discuss how principled chiropractic care can facilitate healing in your body and share information about nerve interference and what we can do to correct it. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about Connect Chiropractic and how we can work together to improve your health!
Assessments
Utilizing CLA Insight Technology, we start by assessing the location and severity of the nerve interference in your body. We also take a look at the muscle activity along your spine. Now we know where to start! Our diagnostic scans are painless - no pricking, poking, or prodding!
After the examination is completed, we take the time to thoroughly explain your results. We also print a copy for you to take home.
X-Rays
When necessary, posture-specific x-rays can be acquired using our state-of-the-art, digital x-ray technology. This allows the doctor to analyze the exact structure of your spine and gives us helpful information to help you safely achieve your health goals. Our digital x-ray process is safe, specific, and only takes about 5 minutes.
While you are in your appointment, a member of our team will verify your insurance (when applicable). We can then let you know the cost of your x-rays with or without insurance before we take them.
Check Out
Before you leave for the day, our front desk team will help you schedule your follow-up appointment. At that next appointment, we will go over the results of your exam and x-rays and explain the doctor’s specific recommendations for care moving forward. We will also go over the financials of everything at this appointment, as we want to be upfront with the total cost of care moving forward (including any relevant insurance coverage).
If you decide to move forward, it is at this point that you will typically receive your first adjustment! Chiropractic adjustments at Connect Chiropractic are gentle enough for children and specific enough to benefit any health condition.
